InsureandGo, the UK’s leading travel insurance specialist, has rolled out a new, targeted website offering low-cost travel insurance to the youth segment.
With an extremely strong domain – Travelinsurance.co.uk – the team at InsureandGo, which MAPFRE ASSISTANCE acquired in 2010, is now looking at running an extensive marketing campaign around the new site to build market share.
The focus will be around advertising the website online and, in particular, through social media in order to maximise low cost acquisition channels and grow the revenue of the supporting B2C brands (please follow the team on Twitter @Ti_tweets).

With over 10 years of experience as a travel insurance specialist, the team at InsureandGo are using their knowledge to offer customers of Travelinsurance.co.uk a wide choice of policies that are convenient and cheap.
They have developed a range of policies to cover trips of all shapes and sizes, including Single Trip, Annual Multi-trip, Backpackers and Ski. Customers can also tailor policies with extra cover, for instance, for winter sports (including off-piste skiing and snowboarding), business trips and golf.
InsureandGo and MAPFRE ASSISTANCE strongly believe that the UK youth market – a segment that has a powerful penchant for travel – is underserved by existing insurance providers and will respond positively to a brand that addresses their specific needs for easy-to-use and cost-effective travel insurance.
Travelinsurance.co.uk will be testing different marketing and promotional ideas to maximise conversion as well as test new products. If these are successful, the plan is to roll them out onto parent site InsureandGo.
